February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month
Big thanks to our interns Cali and Gabbi, along with our amazing Child/Client Advocate, Sophie, for hosting an info booth this month at the Niederkorn Library in Port Washingtonas part of Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month.
February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. We know that intimate partner violence experienced in adolescence sets the stage for future relationship issues in adulthood. Throughout the month, Advocates worked to raise awareness and promote dialogue about healthy relationship practices, ways to recognize “red flag” intimate partner behavior, and how to support individuals experiencing or who have encountered unhealthy relationship dynamics. Thanks to everyone in the community for the support!
